Introduction to M.Arch. (Urban Design ) Program

An urban designer is responsible for designing and planning every aspect of a city. Urban designers take care of urban buildings and public spaces like parks, landscaping, streets, transportation systems, etc. 100 smart cities project in India and growing urbanization offers urban design professionals ample opportunities to flourish.

Eligibility Criterion for the M.Arch. Program:

First Year of M.Arch.:

Candidate should be an Indian national and should have passed a bachelor degree in Architecture from COA approved institution, with at least 50 % marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra state only) AND should have obtained valid positive score in CET.

Introduction to M.Tech. Program

A master’s degree in technology is a gateway to a career in research and academics and pursuing higher education and doctoral degree. Specialization in respective domains prepares candidates to take up responsibilities in the design, development, regulatory, quality, and production aspects of a business.

About the Institute

Marathwada Institute of Technology, Aurangabad, is permanently affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere (BATU), AICTE approved, and accredited with “Grade B+” by NAAC. MIT offers UG, PG, and Ph.D. level programs in engineering, technology, and architecture. This institute was established in 1984 and is one of the pioneers of private engineering education in the state. In 2020 UGC has granted an autonomous status to this institute.

Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Aurangabad, is permanently affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad (BAMU), AICTE approved, NAAC “Grade A” institution offering UG, PG, and Ph.D. level programs in engineering, technology, and management. This institute was established in the year 2001. In 2020 UGC has granted an autonomous status to this institute.

Eligibility Criterion for the M.Tech. program:

Candidate should be an Indian national and should have passed a bachelor degree or equivalent in the relevant field of Engineering/Technology, specified by the concerned university for admission to a particular postgraduate course from an AICTE approved institution, with at least 50 % marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra state only) AND should have obtained valid positive score in GATE.

It is mandatory for all candidates desirous of seeking admission to professional courses to complete the formalities of registrations on the DTE website (www.dte.org.in) on appropriate portals, verification of documents at any of the facilitation centers (in the state of Maharashtra), and possession of a merit number. This is applicable for admissions under both CAP as well as institute level (management quota) rounds.
