About Doctoral Degree- Ph.D. Program

A doctoral degree is the highest academic award in most universities. Ph.D. is a distinctive research-based programme that prepares you to become a competent researcher. In Ph.D., students must present their research work, submit progress reports, and defend their thesis in an open defense viva-voce. This program prepares a student for a lifelong creative pursuit.

About the Institute

Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Aurangabad, is permanently affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad (BAMU), AICTE approved, NAAC “Grade A” institution offering UG, PG, and Ph.D. level programs in engineering, technology, and management. This institute was established in the year 2001. In 2020 UGC has granted an autonomous status to this institute.

Eligibility Criterion for Ph.D. Programs

Ph.D. admissions are made by the university (Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. – (BAMU) & Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere – (BATU)) as per UGC guidelines, and the university rules and regulations.
