Since attaining autonomous status in 2021-22, the Institute has made significant progress in enhancing its academic framework. Autonomy has enabled us to design a dynamic, industry-relevant, and future-oriented curriculum aligned with national and global expectations. Our academic processes are guided by Outcome-Based Education (OBE), a student-centric approach that emphasizes clearly defined learning outcomes, continuous assessment, attainment analysis, and structured feedback mechanisms. Through systematic mapping and evaluation, we ensure that every student develops strong conceptual knowledge, practical competence, professional ethics, research aptitude, and a sense of social responsibility.

In alignment with the vision of National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020), our academic structure promotes multidisciplinary learning, flexibility, skill development, and holistic education. The emphasis on experiential learning, academic credit flexibility, and value-based education resonates strongly with our institutional practices. The implementation of the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) has further strengthened academic flexibility and learner autonomy. To address the demands of a rapidly evolving global and industrial ecosystem, the Institute has introduced Honours and Minor degree schemes that encourage advanced specialization and cross-disciplinary exposure.
