MAHARASHTRA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

National Cadet Corps(NCC)

Every year 20 students are enrolled for NCC and trained with basic awareness of military equipment and culture in the camp. The students attend two camps during their three-year tenure. 50 students got “B” certificate and 35 students got “C” certificate. Two cadets Mr. Bhushan Lohar and Mr. Prashant Khedkar of the institute (MIT-T) have participated in the Republic Day Parade at Delhi in the year 2011 and 2015 respectively.  

1. Annual Social Gathering 

Every year 3 day gathering is held in the campus to promote the extra-curricular skills of the students. 

2. Spic Macay – Students Chapter 

Spic Macay – students’ chapter, a North Eastern festival – held every year to promote their dance forms. (globally recognized and appreciated dance forms declared as World Heritage by UNO) 

3. ROBOCON-MIT 

MIT is the first college from Marathwada region to participate in Robocon. The primary aim of promoting Robotics is to encourage the students around the world to develop and innovate. Various other workshops and technical events like Technoblitz, IMTEX, INSPIRE, etc are arranged from time to time in MIT.
