As part of our Golden Jubilee Celebrations, today Shri Ulhas Gawali, the famous entrepreneur from our city addressed all of us on entrepreneurship and various aspects of business. He spoke at length on value addition and explained how the industrial sector of Marathwada and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is progressing. He appealed to all students to find solutions for misuse of artificial intelligence (AI) in our society. At the end of his address, he administered a pledge wherein all of us promised to contribute to our society in the sincerest manner for India’s continued progress. He also felicitated Shri Mahanand Harishchandra Chungade, a student from the very first batch of Gramaudyogik Shikshan Mandal’s (GSM) institute at Rotegaon in 1976. Today, Shri Chungade was again presented with the certificate from Ministry of Education and Social Welfare (GoI) that was awarded to him 47 years ago.
In today’s session, our Hon’ble President GSM, Dr Y. A. Kawade congratulated all for continued success of GSM and fondly remembered the days from his first batch of students to which Shri Mahanand Harishchandra Chungade belonged.
Mr Atul Kherde, CEO of Anand Innovation and Incubation Council from MIT CSN introduced the concept of ‘50 at 50’ wherein 50 MITians of the age of 50 years will guide one project each to commemorate our Golden Jubilee Year. These projects would have a strong commercial and fiscal angle to sensitize student founders to the realities of the business world.
