Well located hostel facility, for boys & girls within the campus – a home away from home. Our hostels are safe, comfortable, clean and conducive to academic pursuit. Apart from pure drinking water, provisions of wholesome and nutritious food, round the clock electricity and timely medical assistance are provided to the students. The hostels provide recreational facilities like sports, internet, reading room and television that go a long way in making your leisure hours rewarding.

Aurangabad is well connected by:
i. Roads
National Highway 211 passes through the city. Very good direct connectivity with Pune (4½ hrs), Mumbai (6 hrs), Sholapur (4 hrs), Dhulia (3 hrs), Jalna (1 hr), Shirdi (1 hrs), Beed (2½ hrs), Jalgaon (3 hrs), Nagpur (7 hrs), etc. (figures in the bracket indicate approximate travel time in hours).

ii. Railways
a. Direct trains ply from Aurangabad to prominent cities like New Delhi, Amritsar, Bhopal, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Nanded, Parbhani, Shirdi, Kakinada, Visakhapatnam, Narsapur, Manmad, etc.
b. Main railway junction at Manmad, approximately 120 km (takes around two and half hours) away from Aurangabad, serves as an important point to connect major cities in India like Kolkata, Patna, Ranchi, Gauhati, Lucknow, Kanpur, Bhubaneshwar, Itanagar, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Jammu, Shimla, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Chennai, Coimbatore, etc.
iii. Air
a. Direct daily flights to Mumbai and New Delhi.
b. Other important cities in India via either Mumbai or New Delhi.
c. Direct daily flights to Hyderabad.
d. Connecting flights via Hyderabad to Bangalore, Chennai and Tirupati

Physical fitness is of prime importance in order to bring out the best in every student. MIT understands that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body and hence includes a well-equipped gymnasium in the campus. There are also sports facilities like a spacious playground for games and recreation. Games like cricket, football and volleyball are quite popular games at MIT. MIT also has dedicated playing areas for indoor games like badminton, carom, chess etc.. Many of our students have excelled in various games and have bagged prizes / medals at University, State as well as National level competitions.

MIT placement cells provide placement assistance to its students. Training programs at MIT are geared up to expose and prepare students to shoulder responsibilities and excel in their professions. Our training and placement cell, with strong associations, organizes management development programs, consultancy, industry visits, guest lectures, CEO forums, student participation in various events associated with industries, and in-plant training. The training and placement assistance includes in-plant training ranging from 1-6 months for students depending on the courses being pursued by the student.

It is a regular feature on the campus. The Institute have their own buses for conducting industrial tours. In fact, we encourage such tours often as a huge number of industries are located in and around Aurangabad.
