
Department of Computer Application, established in 2008-09 with the vision of imparting top-notch education in the field of computer applications useful for bridging the gap between academic and Industry. The Department executes a well-planned syllabus accompanied with topics covered beyond syllabus to gratify the needs of changing technology.
Gramaudyogik Shikshan Mandal (GSM), Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India is the parent trust (Organization) established in 1975 under Bombay Public Trust Act and also registered under Society Registration Act {this is a pre requisite to start any educational, research & training institute in India}. Over last three and half decades, GSM has established 19 institutes and 5 centres of learning at multiple locations in India. GSM has grown organically in three important provinces of India, viz. Maharashtra (Western India), Delhi (National Capital) & Uttar Pradesh (Northern India). More than 12000 full time & 2500 part time students are on different campuses for primary to post graduate education and vocational training.
MIT offers wide range of courses for graduation level in faculty of – engineering & technology, management, architecture, science and nursing, for post-graduation programs in engineering & technology, management, information technology, and architecture, for vocational level – polytechnic, vocational programs, industrial skill set programs and technical school level programs.
GSM has developed state of the art infrastructure, computer centres, learning aids and research laboratories at each location and supports it by qualified and dedicated staff members. We are proud of being recognized as students centric and faculty driven organization. More than 15000 alumni are spread out across the globe and performing well in different walks of life. They are the real brand ambassadors of MIT, as their success reflects contribution of their education to their career and life.
MIT has developed strong linkages between industry, government & non-government organization. MIT is a pioneer in establishing mutually beneficial triangular partnership among academic institutions, industry and government organizations. Dear Students,
Computer Applications department in Marathwada Institute of Technology, Aurangabad has been operational for last eight years. We have been trying to provide quality education along with prominence on the improvement of communication skill, placement and training in relevant fields. We aim at creating real master of Computers, entrepreneurs, the change thinking and change making professionals, not just degree holders. We plan to redefine education in terms of the essential in the framework of Quality, Ethics and Accountability. We desire to retrofire the stakeholders, with reference to their need, aspirations and obligations. These efforts shall convert each one in multi-learning, multi-skill and multi-tasking roles as knowledge workers. We want to reform our education, in terms of both curricular and extracurricular activities.
