As part of the Dil Se Talk Series, MIT hosted Mr. Mandar Amrute on 14th November 2025. An accomplished alumnus of the Department of Plastics and Polymer Engineering, Mr. Amrute interacted with students and faculty, sharing valuable insights from his rich professional journey.

Mr. Mandar Amrute is a seasoned professional in plastics and polymer engineering with over 15 years of multifaceted industry experience in application development, market research, and new product innovation.
He holds a B.Tech in Plastics & Polymer Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology and a Diploma in Plastics Engineering from Shri Bhagubhai Mafatlal Polytechnic. He further pursued an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the National University of Singapore and an MBA in Marketing & Brand Management from NIBM.

Professionally, he has held key leadership positions including:

  • Head of Business Development, Apex Technopolymer (Ravago Group)
  • Business Development Manager, Arkema

His contributions span strategic business growth, key account management, and the introduction of specialty polymers in automotive, industrial, and consumer domains.
A published author of technical articles and a certified professional on Arkema’s strategic sharing platforms, he is known for his passion, adaptability, and strong “go-getter” attitude.
