Institute level Admission
Admissions to various courses in Engineering and Technology are carried out by two main modes, namely, through Central Counselling and direct at the Institute level. However, the eligibility criteria in both the modes remain the same.
The Central Counselling is conducted by a Competent Authority like the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Mumbai in Maharashtra State. Central Counselling is conducted for 80% of the total seats in each branch (65% seats for candidates from the home state and remaining 15% seats for candidates from all over India, which may include home state candidates also). A notification is issued by the Competent Authority every year announcing its procedure for Central Counselling. Candidates interested to seek admission (20% seats in each branch) under Institute level quota, can follow the steps as below:

- Present your all documents to check eligibility criteria (either personally, through e-mail or by fax) for verifying your qualification details. Check the eligibility first
- If you are eligible to seek admission, then you will be informed accordingly.
- You will be required to complete the formalities like registering on the DTE portal against a notification of admission, getting your documents duly verified, and possessing valid DTE Merit Number.
- Your admission will be confirmed subject to availability of seats and your merit status as per the norms of CET Cell, Government of Maharashtra.
