The Central Library is spread over 600 square meters with ground floor and mezzanine floor of the MIT Digital Library. It has over 37500 volumes, over 150 periodicals and hundreds of CDs, DVDs, e-learning material, etc. It comprises of the following Sections:

1. Main Library: Issue and Returns Section.
2. Reference Section (Technical and Science Journals-national and International, reference books, bound back volumes) including digital library with 10 PCs, Multi Media Kits, Internet Facility for surfing more than 400 e-journals.
3. Study Cubicles over 100 cubicles on the ground floor.
4. Reading room adjacent to the Main Library, ground floor, general magazines,
5. News Papers Reading Section, ground floor.

1. First one topper-student (base on annual result FY to SY) from SY to TY & TY to B. Tech will be eligible to get a set of 4 books free of cost on loan basis per semester. The books taken on loan will be returned to the Library in good condition before the commencement of the following semester. In case of loss or damage Rule 5(9) is applicable.
2. SC/ST category students are eligible for the book bank facility as per the rules of the Social Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra subject to their approval and funding.
3. One can obtain on loan five books form book bank facility on payment of Rs 300 per semester (FY) and Rs 250 per Semester for 4 books of SY to B.Tech, & MBA and Rs 250 per semester for 2 books of (PG) Ist. The books taken on loan will be returned to the Library in good condition before the commencement of the following semester. In case of loss or damage Rule 5 (9) is applicable.

• The above working hours will be extended during examination period.
