The ceremony started with an academic procession and culminated with National Anthem. Around 190 students along with their proud parents and family members participated in this ceremony. Postgraduates from Engineering, Computer Applications and Management Science programs were honoured with their degree certificates and the toppers were awarded medals and other rewards.

Mr. Bagla appealed to the young graduates to contribute towards Viksit Bharat and said, “Success is hard work done smartly; and there is no substitute to hard work.” By giving the examples of Japan and Germany that got destroyed after World War II, Mr. Bagla emphasized the importance of ‘Nation First’ mindset and ‘Discipline’ for our country’s progress.

Prof. Pandharipande asked the young graduates to learn human values from the ongoing Wari (a foot pilgrimage) in Maharashtra and congratulated the graduands. Prof. Munish Sharma briefly narrated the history of MIT CSN that started from a unique course named B. Sc. Engineering offered around four decades back by, Dr. Kawade. Sharing his major takeaway from his recent expedition covering 21,000 km road journey from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to London, he appealed all students to make the common man in each one of them stronger. He said, “Don’t kill the common man in you, that possesses qualities like honesty, genuineness, empathy and integrity.” He advised all to stay mentally strong in tough times and to swiftly regain mental peace once we lose it.
