Courses at Red Hat Academy

What is it all about?

Red Hat is a multinational software company, headquartered in USA, which provides open source software products. Its certificate program is a novel concept which ensures that -

  • There is greater value addition to the knowledge and practical skills of a technology professional
  • The software industry finds qualified and right professionals from a huge pool of aspirants

In 2006, MIT joined hands with Red Hat India to start Red Hat Enterprise Linux training within its campus. Industry defined course contents are delivered to the students of engineering, technology, and the other graduates of Marathwada region.

Following their training, students are assessed by Red Hat for their real-time performance on live Red Hat server, rigorously tested and finally certified. These students are now serving in companies, corporations or enterprises in USA, UK and India as Linux experts, engineers, server analysts, and system administrators.

To put things in perspective note that Linux platform drives more than 100,000 android mobile phones, tablets, stock exchange servers, mainframe computers, mission critical application softwares and even supercomputers. MIT duly noted the global application of Enterprise Linux and started offering Linux training to the students since 2006.

Red Hat, in turn, commended MIT's contribution to this project by awarding 'Emerging Red Hat Certified Training Partner' in Asia Pacific (APAC) certificate.

Given an exposure of high-end technology at the right time, students flourish with flying colours and excel not only at the national but also at the international level. Going a step further, MIT also trains faculty members from colleges across Marathwada, which would spread Linux skill sets amongst all students of their respective colleges.

MIT's Red Hat Academy is a leading academy in India for international training & certifications! The Academy offers international training and certifications in Red Hat Enterprise Linux like: Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Red Hat Certified Virtualization Administrator (RHCVA), Red Hat Certified Security Specialist (RHCSS) and Red Hat Certified Architects (RHCA).
