OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSES
In order to secure admission to first year of three-year full time MCA course, the following criteria should be fulfilled -
- Candidate must have passed with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates belonging to the Backward Class categories of Maharashtra state only) in any full time bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities and having studied Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or higher level examination.
Also, the candidate must have appeared and qualified a Common Entrance Test like MAH-MCA-CET, AIMCET etc.
- It is mandatory for all candidates desirous of seeking admission to professional courses (B.E. / B. Tech / ME, M. Tech, MCA, MBA, etc) to complete the registration process on the DTE website (www.dte.org.in) and to possess a valid merit number. This is applicable for admissions both under CAP, as well as, at the institute level (Management Quota) process.
